Farsi Manchester

Farsi Manchester is a Farsi-speaking AA meeting held every Wednesday evening at half past six on Piercy Street, Ancoats. It is a members-only meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking who wish to share in Farsi rather than English. The meeting runs for an hour and a half and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Piercy Street sits in Ancoats, on the edge of Manchester city centre, an area increasingly well connected by tram and bus. For Farsi speakers across Greater Manchester, this meeting offers a rare chance to discuss recovery in their first language rather than through translation.
