Families Anonymous Blackpool

Families Anonymous meets in Blackpool every Thursday evening at 7pm, for an hour and a half, at the Blackpool Recovery Hub on Church Street. The group supports family and friends whose lives have been affected by a loved one's drug use or related behavioural problems, whether that's a partner, parent, sibling or child. There's no requirement to bring the person you're worried about; many members attend entirely on their own and find it helps simply to talk with others who understand the situation from the inside. Meetings use the twelve steps to help people work through their own reactions rather than trying to control someone else's choices. It is open to anyone in this position, free to attend, and there is no need to book; just arrive shortly before seven.
