Families Anonymous in Balham meets on alternate Wednesdays at 7pm, for an hour, at Holy Trinity Church on Trinity Road, close to Tooting Bec tube station. The group is for family and friends who are concerned about a loved one's use of drugs or related behavioural problems, whether that's a partner, parent, sibling or adult child. You do not need to bring the person you are worried about, and many members come on their own. Meetings follow the twelve steps, giving space to share experience and find some peace regardless of whether the other person is in recovery. The venue has wheelchair access. It is open and free, with no need to book ahead; just turn up shortly before seven.
