Emotional Sobriety

Emotional Sobriety is a members-only Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held every Wednesday at 6pm at St Mary's Church on Bourne Street, Belgravia, through the blue door at number 30, on the corner with Graham Terrace. Rather than following a chaired share, the meeting works through a cycle of emotions each week: confusion, fear, anger, sadness, shame and acceptance. It is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than an open meeting for family or friends. A chit system is available for anyone needing signed proof of attendance. The church is wheelchair accessible, it is around five minutes' walk from Sloane Square, and parking is available in the surrounding streets. The meeting lasts an hour, with no cost and no need to book.
