Elderslie Kirk Big Book Discussion

Rounding off the week, the Elderslie Kirk Big Book Discussion meets on Friday evenings at eight o'clock, running for about an hour and a quarter, a little shorter than the kirk's other meetings. The format centres on discussing the AA Big Book rather than open sharing, giving members a specific text to work through together. It's a closed meeting, held for people with a desire to stop drinking in line with the Third Tradition, rather than being open to supporters or professionals. Elderslie Kirk has wheelchair access. There's no charge to attend and nothing to arrange beforehand: people generally arrive a little before eight and settle into the hall ahead of the discussion starting.
