Getting there
About this meeting
The Edinburgh meeting is an online CoDA meeting, held each Wednesday at 7pm, UK and Ireland time. It lasts an hour and a half from start to finish. Originally a Scottish group, it now meets purely online, open to CoDA members wherever they happen to be. CoDA describes itself as a fellowship of people working towards healthier, more loving relationships with themselves and others. Being an open meeting, nobody needs to identify as a CoDA member to attend, and anyone curious about the programme can join. No booking or payment is needed; anyone wanting to attend can find how to join via Co-Dependents Anonymous's meeting page.
Common questions
Can I attend if I'm new to CoDA?
Yes, newcomers are welcome. The meeting is open, and while CoDA's own membership requirement is simply a desire for healthy and loving relationships, nobody is asked to commit to that before sitting in.
How much does it cost, and do I need to register beforehand?
It costs nothing to attend, and there is no booking or registration required beforehand; you just join when the meeting starts.
Do I need to live in Edinburgh to join?
No. Although the meeting is named after Edinburgh, it is held entirely online and can be joined by CoDA members from anywhere in the UK, Ireland or beyond.

Going to your first meeting?
Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Foundations, our plain-language introduction to recovery, was written for exactly this moment — what to expect, what the Steps mean, and how to begin.
