East Garston's AA meeting takes place on Wednesdays at 8pm at the Quaker Meeting House, opposite the village hall in East Garston, near Hungerford, and lasts an hour and a quarter. It is a closed meeting, which in AA means it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking; that is the only requirement, so a first-timer is as welcome as a long-standing regular. The Meeting House is wheelchair accessible. There is nothing to pay and no booking; you simply arrive on the night. For anyone in the surrounding villages, having a weekly meeting on the doorstep saves the drive into a bigger town, and the venue is easy to find opposite the village hall.
Can I attend if I am new to AA?
