Durham Courage To Change

Courage To Change is a morning Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in the centre of Durham, held every Tuesday at 10.30am at 22 Old Elvet and lasting an hour. It is an open meeting, so anyone with an interest is welcome: people who want to stop drinking, of course, but also relatives, friends, students and professionals who want to understand what AA does. Morning meetings tend to be smaller and quieter than evening ones, which some newcomers find less daunting for a first visit. There is no cost and no booking; you simply turn up. Wheelchair access at this venue has not been confirmed, so if steps are a concern it may be worth checking in advance or trying one of Durham's other meetings.
