Dunmow Step

Dunmow Step meets on Sunday evenings at 7pm at The Day Centre on Chequers Lane in Dunmow, running for an hour and a half. As a step meeting it works through AA's Twelve Steps, the heart of the recovery programme, giving each one proper attention. It is a closed meeting, reserved for people who have a desire to stop drinking; that desire is the only requirement, and being brand new is no obstacle. The Day Centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and nothing to book. If Sunday evenings tend to be when the week's resolve wobbles, a regular 7pm meeting can be a very practical way to hold the line.
