Dundee Beginners Plain Language

Dundee Beginners Plain Language meets on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in Logie and St John's Parish Church on Shaftesbury Terrace, and runs for an hour and a quarter. As the name makes clear, the group is aimed at newcomers, keeping the format straightforward and the language accessible rather than assuming prior knowledge of AA terminology. It's a closed meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking, and it operates a chit system, so attendance slips for court, probation or treatment purposes can be signed here. The church is wheelchair accessible. For anyone attending an AA meeting for the very first time, a beginners' meeting like this is often the gentlest place to start.
