Drogheda Wednesday

The Drogheda Wednesday group meets in the morning, at 10.30am, in the Parish Hall of St Peter's Church of Ireland on Peter Street, with a longer two-hour session. Al-Anon Family Groups is for anyone whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether as a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, and the meeting keeps its focus on the person attending rather than on the one who drinks. As an open meeting, newcomers, visitors and professionals are all welcome alongside regular members, and no one is required to speak. The morning timing and extended length in Drogheda suit people who prefer to deal with things earlier in the day and appreciate more time to talk things through than a standard hour allows.
