Doohamlat Thursday formerly Ballybay

Al-Anon Family Groups runs a weekly meeting in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on Thursdays at 8pm, at Doohamlat Day Centre, Community Centre. Al-Anon is for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether that is a partner, a parent, an adult child or a friend, and you do not need to bring that person with you. The meeting is open, which means anyone with an interest can attend, including first-timers who are not yet sure Al-Anon is for them. Expect the meeting to run for about two hours, wrapping up close to 10pm, with no registration required beforehand. The group was previously known as the Ballybay meeting and now meets in Doohamlat, Co. Monaghan, under its current name.
