Sunday evenings at 6pm bring Derby Non Religious AA together in The Community Room on Centurion Walk in Chester Green, Derby. This hour-long session takes a secular approach to the AA programme, so you will not find religious language at its centre, and the group maintains a website with further details. It is a closed meeting, which is AA shorthand for a meeting reserved for people with a desire to stop drinking, or anyone questioning their own relationship with alcohol; friends, family and professionals are instead pointed towards open meetings. The room is wheelchair accessible. Nothing needs to be paid or arranged in advance, and you can simply arrive shortly before 6pm and take a seat.
