Monday evenings at 7.30pm bring Derby's Alcoholics Anonymous group to Boyer Street Community Rooms on Boyer Street, west of the city centre. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and is open, which means anyone may attend: people who want to stop drinking, family members and friends, and professionals wanting to understand AA better. The community rooms are wheelchair accessible. Like all AA meetings, it is free, and there is no booking, referral or registration of any kind; you simply arrive, find a seat, and listen or share as you choose. Starting the week with a meeting is a habit many Derby members say keeps the following days on track.
