Deptford Step & Tradition

Step and Tradition is the Thursday meeting at Armada Court Community Hall, 21 McMillan Street, Deptford, starting at 7.15pm and running for an hour and a quarter. As the name says, the format works through AA's Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, the backbone of the programme, one topic at a time. It is an open meeting, welcoming anyone with a desire to stop drinking along with family, friends and interested professionals. The hall has wheelchair access. AA meetings are always free, and there is no booking, referral or paperwork. If you are new, a step meeting is a good way to hear how the programme works in members' actual lives; the same venue also meets on Sunday mornings at 11am.
