About this meeting

The Denby Dale group meets on Sunday evenings at 7.30pm in Denby Dale Community Library on Wakefield Road, in the village outside Huddersfield. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and is open to all, whether you have a desire to stop drinking or are supporting someone who does. The library is wheelchair accessible. A chit system operates here, meaning attendance can be signed for court, probation or treatment purposes. There is no cost and no need to book; you can simply arrive shortly before the start. A library might seem an unusual venue for an AA meeting, but it makes for a quiet, comfortable place to sit and talk honestly.
