About this meeting

Gamblers Anonymous in Darlington meets every Tuesday at 7pm, at Harrowgate Hill Methodist Church on Lowson Street. Because it is an open meeting, there is no need to be a Gamblers Anonymous member to attend; family, friends and professionals are equally welcome. Within Gamblers Anonymous, the only requirement to become a member is a desire to stop gambling; visitors on an open night do not need to meet it. Sessions last two hours. Two other Gamblers Anonymous groups, known as North Mixed and North Steps, meet at the same venue on the same day and at the same time; this listing is for the North group. There’s nothing to pay and nothing to book in advance.

Common questions

Do I need to be a Gamblers Anonymous member to attend?

No, you don’t need to be a member. It is an open meeting, so anyone, including newcomers, family and friends, can come along.

Is there a charge for the meeting?

There is no charge and no booking system. Newcomers can walk in on the night.

What’s the difference between the North, North Mixed and North Steps meetings?

They are three separately named Gamblers Anonymous groups that meet at the same venue, on the same day and at the same time. This listing covers the North group; the site does not hold further detail on how the groups differ.
