Cumbernauld Big Book

Held on Wednesday evenings at 8pm in the Muirfield Centre on South Muirhead Road, Cumbernauld Big Book runs for an hour and a half. As the name indicates, the meeting follows a Big Book Study format, reading through Alcoholics Anonymous section by section and discussing it in relation to members' own experience. It is closed, meaning it is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the general public, and a first visit is welcome without any need to know anyone beforehand. The centre is wheelchair accessible. Wednesday gives Cumbernauld's busy meeting schedule a mid-week focal point built around the text itself rather than open discussion. There is no charge and nothing to book.
