Every Wednesday at 6.45pm, Gamblers Anonymous meets at Macosquin Presbyterian Church on Coolyvenny Road in Coleraine. As an open meeting, it welcomes anyone, including those close to a gambler and professionals working in the field, not only people with a desire to stop gambling themselves. The fellowship’s sole membership requirement is a desire to stop gambling, but because the meeting is open, that requirement does not apply to visitors, family or friends. Meetings here typically last an hour and 15 minutes. Turning up on the night is all it takes, there’s no booking system.
