Getting there
About this meeting
The Codependents Matters meeting is an online CoDA meeting, held each Saturday at 1pm, UK and Ireland time. The group meets for an hour and 15 minutes. Sitting in the early afternoon, it gives members a midday break to check in with the fellowship. The wider CoDA fellowship exists to help members build healthier relationships with themselves and the people around them. Being an open meeting, nobody needs to identify as a CoDA member to attend, and anyone curious about the programme can join. No booking or payment is needed; anyone wanting to attend can find how to join via Co-Dependents Anonymous's meeting page.
Common questions
Can I attend if I'm new to CoDA?
Yes, newcomers are welcome. The meeting is open, and while CoDA's own membership requirement is simply a desire for healthy and loving relationships, nobody is asked to commit to that before sitting in.
Do I need to book a place, and is it free?
There is no charge and no booking system. You can attend by joining at the scheduled time, with nothing to arrange beforehand.
Will I have to be on camera or speak?
The listing does not set a camera policy, and it is generally fine to join and simply listen to begin with, without speaking or showing your camera.

Going to your first meeting?
Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Foundations, our plain-language introduction to recovery, was written for exactly this moment — what to expect, what the Steps mean, and how to begin.
