Getting there
About this meeting
CoDA MOM, short for Mixed Online Meeting, gathers every Monday at 7.30pm, UK and Ireland time, for about an hour and a half. As the name suggests, it welcomes a mix of members rather than being restricted by gender, location or background. CoDA meetings draw on shared experience and the twelve steps to help members recognise and change codependent patterns, and this session follows that format in an open discussion. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, whether working on their own relationship patterns, supporting a friend or family member, or simply wanting to find out more about the fellowship. There is no cost to attend and nothing to book beforehand.
Common questions
What does MOM stand for, and who can join?
MOM stands for Mixed Online Meeting. It's open to anyone — people working on their own relationship patterns, friends and family, or the simply curious.
Is there a cost, and how do I join?
Attending is free and nothing needs to be arranged beforehand — the joining details are listed on Co-Dependents Anonymous' meeting page.
Do I need my camera on to attend?
No. Many newcomers prefer to listen for a while before switching it on, and that's absolutely fine.

Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Foundations, our plain-language introduction to recovery, was written for exactly this moment — what to expect, what the Steps mean, and how to begin.
