Co-Anon Newcastle upon Tyne

Co-Anon Newcastle upon Tyne meets on Sunday evenings at 6pm at George Street Social on George Street. It's a family fellowship for the relatives and friends of someone with a cocaine or other substance addiction, offering a place to talk with others who understand the strain of living alongside someone else's drug use. Parents, partners, children, siblings and friends are all welcome, whatever the current state of the relationship with the person who is using. You don't need to bring them along or have told them you're attending. The meeting runs for about an hour and follows the Co-Anon Twelve Step format of shared experience. It's free, with no booking required, and newcomers can simply turn up and listen if they'd rather not speak straight away.
