About this meeting
Co-Anon Nenagh meets every Monday at 7.15pm at 52 Silver Street. Co-Anon is a fellowship for family members and friends whose lives have been affected by someone else's cocaine or other substance addiction, whether that person is still using, in recovery, or somewhere in between. The meeting is open, so partners, parents, adult children, siblings and friends are all welcome to attend in their own right. It runs for about an hour and follows the shared format of Co-Anon meetings generally, with members talking openly about their own experience rather than the person they are worried about. No previous meeting experience is needed, and newcomers are welcome to simply turn up on the night without any introduction or referral.
Common questions
Do I have to bring the person whose addiction I'm worried about?
No. Co-Anon Nenagh is for you, in your own right, and many people attend on their own without the person they are concerned about ever being there.
Does it cost anything to attend?
No, the meeting is free and there is no need to book in advance. Just arrive at 52 Silver Street for 7.15pm on Monday.
How long does the meeting run for?
It lasts about an hour, giving members time to share their own experience of living with someone else's addiction.

Going to your first meeting?
Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Foundations, our plain-language introduction to recovery, was written for exactly this moment — what to expect, what the Steps mean, and how to begin.
