Co-Anon Huddersfield meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at CGL Bridge House on Aspley Place in the Aspley area of the town. This is a family and friends fellowship for anyone whose life has been touched by someone else's cocaine or other substance addiction, rather than a meeting for the person using. Partners, parents, children and friends are all welcome, and there is no requirement to bring or even name the person concerned. The meeting lasts about an hour and follows the shared format of listening and speaking that Co-Anon groups use, drawing on the same Twelve Step principles as other family fellowships. It is open to anyone affected, with no referral, appointment or fee needed, and newcomers are welcome to simply come along and listen on a first visit.
