About this meeting

Clerkenwell Beginners is an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting aimed at people new to the programme, held every Monday at 7pm at St James Clerkenwell on Clerkenwell Close. ACA is for adults who grew up with alcoholism or other family dysfunction in their childhood home, and the fellowship uses the Twelve Steps to work through the lasting effects of that upbringing rather than to stop a behaviour today. This open meeting is designed to welcome first-timers, so there is no need to have attended ACA before, and sharing is entirely voluntary. It is free to attend, with no need to book a place.
