City Big Book Study

City Big Book Study is a Tuesday lunchtime meeting at St Margaret Pattens Guild Church on Rood Lane, Eastcheap, starting at 12.30pm and lasting an hour. As the name says, the meeting works through the Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous's core text, which makes it a good way to get to grips with how the programme actually works. It is a closed meeting - reserved for people who have a desire to stop drinking, or who think they might - rather than for observers, though newcomers are always welcome. Wheelchair access at the church has not been confirmed. The meeting is free, and there is no booking; City workers often simply drop in during lunch.
