About this meeting
Aimed at people who are new to recovery, the Cirencester CA Newcomers Meeting runs each Tuesday at 7pm at Ashcroft church on Ashcroft Road. It is one of the Cotswold town's Cocaine Anonymous groups, run by members who have been through the same struggle and are willing to share their experience. If you have a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances, you qualify for membership; nothing more is required. You will not be asked to pay, to give your details or to speak. Plenty of newcomers use their first visit just to sit and listen.
Common questions
Do I have to be in treatment or clean already?
No. You do not need to be in treatment, and you do not need any time clear. The one requirement is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.
How much is it, and do I need to register?
It is free, and there is no registration. Just arrive for the 7pm start on Tuesday.
Is it okay if I have never been to a meeting before?
Yes. The title shows it is a newcomers meeting, so first-timers are exactly who it is for.
