Christchurch Joys Of Recovery

Joys Of Recovery meets late on Saturday afternoons in Christchurch, at St Georges Church Hall, 2A Jumpers Road, from 5pm for an hour and a quarter. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so everyone is welcome: people with a desire to stop drinking, family and friends who want to support someone or understand more, and professionals with an interest in recovery. A 5pm Saturday slot works well for anyone who finds weekend evenings the hardest stretch to get through, breaking the day at just the point temptation tends to build. The hall is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no need to book; simply arrive a little before 5pm, and feel free just to listen on your first visit.
