The Chippenham Living Clean group of Narcotics Anonymous meets every Wednesday evening at the Salvation Army Hall in Corsham, near Chippenham. Doors open from 6.30pm and the meeting runs from 7pm for around an hour and a half. When you arrive, you're asked to sign in using your first name only, which keeps things anonymous. The local car park is free from 6pm, so there's no rush. Each week the format is either an Experience, Strength and Hope share or a reading from the Just For Today book followed by sharing back. This is a welcoming group for newcomers, with children welcome and pets welcome too. The venue has wheelchair access. Speakers feature regularly, and you're free to simply listen if that suits you.
Can I come along if I'm new or just want to see what it's like?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including newcomers, family, friends and interested professionals. It's a beginner and newcomer friendly group, and you're welcome to sit and listen without saying anything if you prefer. Children and pets are welcome too.
