In Chelmsford, Gamblers Anonymous holds a weekly meeting at Holy Trinity Church on Trinity Road on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. This is an open meeting, so newcomers, family members, friends and professionals are all welcome alongside those with a desire to stop gambling. The fellowship’s sole membership requirement is a desire to stop gambling, but because the meeting is open, that requirement does not apply to visitors, family or friends. Expect the meeting to run for about two hours. No booking is required; you can simply turn up. Anonymity is a core part of Gamblers Anonymous, so what’s discussed at the meeting is not shared outside it.
