Cavan Friday morning

Cavan's Al-Anon Family Groups meeting is held on Friday mornings at the Conaty Centre in Cullies, starting at 10.30am and running for about an hour and a half. Al-Anon supports anyone whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether as a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, and the meeting is centred on the person attending rather than on the one who drinks. As an open meeting, newcomers, visitors and professionals are welcome alongside regular members, with no requirement to already identify as Al-Anon, and no one is pressed to speak. Cullies sits just outside Cavan town, and the Friday morning slot gives members a way to start the weekend with some structured, supportive time.
