There's no need to book or say anything on your first visit u2014 turning up is enough to get started.
Common questions
Who can come to this meeting?
This is a closed meeting, which means it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. If that's you, whatever stage you're at, you're welcome. Closed simply refers to who attends, not the meeting being cancelled.
Does it cost anything, and do I need to book?
No. NA meetings are free and there's no booking. Just arrive at the Presentation Convent on Church Street before 7pm on Friday. A voluntary collection covers costs like room hire, but you're never expected to give.
What happens when I turn up for the first time?
You can simply sit and listen — no one will pressure you to speak or share your name. Let someone know you're new if you'd like, and members will point you in the right direction.
