Candle Lit – Meditation Cocaine Anonymous

This candlelit Cocaine Anonymous meeting is held at Aliya Youth Project on Bury New Road, Salford, on Friday evenings from 6.30pm for an hour, combining meditation with open discussion in a quieter, reflective format. On the first Friday of each month the meeting opens its doors to visitors, while on other weeks it remains closed to those with a desire to stop using cocaine and other mind-altering substances. Wheelchair access at the venue has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs is advised to check with the group beforehand. The candlelit setting is intended to encourage a slower pace of sharing, offering an alternative to the more conventional discussion format used elsewhere in the week at the same venue.
