Camlough

On Sunday mornings at 11am, the Camlough group holds a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in the Old School House at Camlough Community Centre on Quarter Road outside Newry. Closed means it is set aside for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the general public, although the group also holds an open meeting on the last Thursday of every third month, plus a Christmas Day meeting at 11am. The Sunday morning slot gives members a settled start to the week. There is no charge for attending and no need to book beforehand, so anyone eligible can simply come along. Wheelchair access at the Old School House has not been confirmed, so it is sensible to check with the Camlough Community Centre before travelling if this is a concern.
