Getting there
About this meeting
For anyone in Cambuslang whose life has been touched by a relative's or friend's drinking, Al-Anon Family Groups meets every Monday at 8pm at Cambuslang Institute on Greenlees Road. It brings together people who share the experience of loving or living alongside someone who drinks, or once did, offering mutual support that belongs to them, not to the drinker, in complete confidence. It runs as an open meeting, so newcomers, professionals and anyone with an interest are all free to attend, with no requirement to speak or share if they would rather just listen. It lasts around an hour and a half. Nothing needs to be arranged beforehand, and new faces can just turn up on the day without any prior contact.
