Camberwell Newcomers’ Step Meeting

On Saturday afternoons, CGL Southwark runs Camberwell Newcomers' Step Meeting from 1pm, an hour and a quarter session aimed at those beginning their recovery. Doors open from 12.30pm for fellowship beforehand, and entry is by ringing the doorbell. As an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, it welcomes anyone, including people simply wanting to understand more about the fellowship. The venue is wheelchair accessible and lies around fifteen to twenty minutes' walk from Elephant and Castle tube station, with buses 12, 35, 40, 42, 45, 68, 148, 171, 176 and 468 also passing nearby. Arriving from 12.30pm allows time to chat before the meeting starts.
