Tradition Meeting - Last Wednesday of the Month
A second weekly meeting takes place in Cahirciveen on Sunday mornings at 11am, again at the Day Centre in The Parsonage, The Avenue, Co. Kerry. Like the Wednesday meeting run by the same group, it is kept for AA members with a desire to stop drinking, rather than being open to the wider community. Attendance is free and there is no need to book, so people generally arrive a few minutes before 11am. The meeting follows the standard Alcoholics Anonymous shape of a short reading followed by sharing, with everyone free to contribute or simply listen. Wheelchair access for the Day Centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs should check with the group beforehand.
