Od Nowa is a Polish-speaking Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held every Sunday at 7.30pm at Bushey & Oxhey Methodist Church, 77 Chalk Hill, on the Bushey side of Watford, lasting one hour. The meeting is conducted entirely in Polish, so Polish speakers across the Watford area can hear and share recovery in their own language. It is an open meeting: along with anyone who has a desire to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals may attend. A chit system is available, meaning a member of the group can sign a slip confirming your attendance if you need it for court, probation or a treatment service. There is no charge and nothing to arrange in advance; simply come along on the night.
