Burnage

St Margaret's Church Hall at 250 Burnage Lane hosts the Burnage Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm, running for an hour and a half. Burnage sits in south Manchester, and this closed meeting serves anyone in the area who has a desire to stop drinking, whether they are days, months or years into that decision. Closed simply describes who the meeting is for; nobody checks credentials at the door, and newcomers are welcome to sit quietly and take it all in. The church hall is wheelchair accessible. As at every AA meeting there is no charge, no booking and no paperwork, and first names are all anyone ever uses.
