Entry via car park at the rear. One week step meeting, one week experience, strength and hope share.
Bristol How We Recover meets on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at Westbury-on-Trym Baptist Church on Reedley Road, Bristol, with entry via the car park at the rear of the building. The hour-long meeting alternates its format week by week: one week is a step meeting, the next is given over to experience, strength and hope shares, so over a fortnight you get both study and storytelling. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so anyone may attend, including supporters and professionals. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost and no booking; just find the rear entrance and come in.
How do I get into the building?
Entry is via the car park at the rear of Westbury-on-Trym Baptist Church, rather than the front of the building.
What format does the meeting take?
It alternates weekly between a step meeting and a meeting of experience, strength and hope shares, so consecutive weeks feel quite different.
Can I attend if I am not an alcoholic?
Yes. It is an open meeting, so family, friends and professionals are welcome as well as people who want to stop drinking.
