Bristol Acceptance Is The Key meets on Tuesday evenings at 8pm at the Friends Meeting House on Beckspool Road, by Frenchay Common in north Bristol. The meeting runs for an hour and a quarter and takes its name from one of the most quoted passages in AA's Big Book. It is an open meeting, so anyone may attend: people who want to stop drinking, family and friends, and professionals wanting to see how Alcoholics Anonymous works. The Friends Meeting House is wheelchair accessible. There is nothing to pay, no booking, and no expectation to speak; many people spend their first meetings simply listening.
