Brighton Step One

Step One meets on Thursday afternoons at 2pm at the Chapel Royal, 164 North Street, in the centre of Brighton, and lasts one hour. The name points to the first of Alcoholics Anonymous' Twelve Steps, the admission that alcohol has become unmanageable, which is where every AA story begins, and that makes this a fitting meeting for anyone taking their first look at the fellowship. It is an open meeting, so people with a desire to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals are all welcome. The central location is easy to reach on foot or by bus. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed at this venue. The meeting is free, and there is no booking or registration of any kind.
