Who can come to this meeting?

This is an open Overeaters Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome, whether you're seeking recovery yourself, supporting someone, or simply want to learn how OA works. The only requirement for OA membership is a desire to stop eating compulsively.

Do I need to book or pay?

No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. OA is self-supporting through members' voluntary contributions, so a small donation may be passed round, but nobody is required to give and you can just turn up on the day.

What happens at the meeting?

It's a literature-based format focused on OA's Big Book and the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, alternating between the two each week. Expect readings followed by members sharing their experience. You're free to simply listen if you'd rather not speak.
