Speaker meeting.
The Bracknell Group meets every Friday evening at Bracknell Methodist Church on Shepherds Lane, gathering from 8pm for an hour and a half. This is a speaker meeting, where a member shares their experience of recovery for much of the hour, giving newcomers and regulars alike a chance to listen and relate rather than feel put on the spot. As an open meeting, it welcomes anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, along with family, friends and anyone curious about how Narcotics Anonymous works. Parking is available at the venue, which makes the RG42 postcode easy enough to reach by car. Whether it's your first Friday or your fiftieth, there's a seat here and no pressure to speak.
Can I come along if I've never been to a meeting before?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people new to Narcotics Anonymous, family and friends. As a speaker meeting, you can simply sit and listen; there is no obligation to talk or share.
Is there any cost or do I need to book?
No. NA meetings are free to attend and there is no booking. Just turn up at Bracknell Methodist Church on Friday for the 8pm start. A collection is passed for running costs, but giving is entirely voluntary.
Is parking available at the venue?
