Boyle

Al-Anon Boyle meets every Monday at 8.30pm at St Joseph's Resource Centre in Abbeytown. The group is for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, including partners, parents, adult children and friends, and welcomes them whether the drinking is ongoing or belongs to the past. It's an open meeting, so there's no referral process, no need for prior experience of Al-Anon or Alcoholics Anonymous, and no requirement to speak on a first visit. Members share their own experience of coping with someone else's drinking, offering one another practical understanding rather than advice. Anyone in Boyle and the surrounding Co. Roscommon area looking for this kind of support is welcome to attend.
