Gamblers Anonymous meets in Bolton every Friday at 7.30pm, running for two hours at the Victoria Hall on Knowsley Street. It's an open meeting, so anyone affected by gambling can attend, including partners, parents and friends who want to understand more about the fellowship, as well as people with a desire to stop gambling themselves. Members work through the twelve steps and share their own experience in confidence, without judgement. There's no cost to attend and no need to book a place beforehand; just arrive a few minutes before half past seven and ask for the group. The Victoria Hall does not currently have wheelchair access, so it's worth bearing that in mind if mobility is a concern.
