Trad meeting 1st Saturday of each month
On Saturdays, the Blessington Group meets earlier, at 11am, again in St Joseph's Hall on Main Street, this time following a Big Book format that works from the AA text itself rather than general sharing. On the first Saturday of each month, the meeting switches to a traditional format instead. It remains closed, so it is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends or professionals. Together with the Tuesday evening session, this gives Blessington two weekly meetings with quite different formats. There is no charge and nothing to book beforehand, so anyone eligible can arrive at St Joseph's Hall shortly before 11am.
