Blackpool Wednesday

Blackpool's Wednesday Al-Anon Family Groups meeting is held at Cherry Tree Community Centre on Cherry Tree Gardens, starting at 7.30pm and lasting around an hour and a quarter. Al-Anon supports anyone whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether as a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, and the meeting is centred on the person attending rather than on the one who drinks. As an open meeting, newcomers, visitors and professionals are welcome alongside regular members, with no requirement to already identify as Al-Anon, and no one is pressed to speak. Cherry Tree Community Centre sits in a residential part of Blackpool away from the seafront, giving the group a quiet, straightforward venue for a midweek evening meeting.
