Blackpool The Gateway

The Gateway runs at the same time as Spencer Serenity but is a separate, closed AA meeting, held on Friday evenings at 8pm in Spencer Court Community Centre for an hour and a half. Because it is closed, it is intended for AA members and for people who have a desire to stop drinking, rather than for family, friends or professionals attending to observe. The centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge to attend and no booking system, as with all AA meetings, so eligible newcomers can simply come along on the night. The Gateway is one of several groups sharing the Spencer Court venue in Blackpool, distinguished from the open meetings that also meet there.
