About this meeting
The Birmingham - Edgbaston Thursday meeting is an Al-Anon group that meets weekly at 7.30pm in St Monica's Room at the Old Church on Church Road, Edgbaston. Al-Anon Family Groups are for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, including partners, parents, adult children and friends, and this meeting is open to all of them regardless of whether the drinking is still happening. No connection to Alcoholics Anonymous is required, and there is no need to have attended Al-Anon before. Members meet to share their own experience of living alongside someone else's drinking and to support one another through it. Newcomers from across Birmingham are welcome to attend without any introduction.
